Longer shafts require too much bend in the left arm (for right handers) that forces you too upright for a lower and more natural ball rolling setup with less putter head control. Hard to get the ball out in front of you. No traveling problems either.

If you wish you could have distance control putting from way off the green, this head combined with a long ergonomic shafting is the perfect solution.
Placing the putter behind the ball makes setup alignment very easy.
Swinging the putter back and forth, over the ball, along the target line creates a vivid image of the angle and direction of your intended stroke.
Once established, sole the putter and all you need to concentrate on is pace.... which you can feel when facing the line better than any other putting technique.

The Grand Slam putter brings a great high tech look for 2011. Somewhat heavier in weight than traditional and most modern designs of today. Research has shown that more head feel in a putter (more head weight) at any length can aid a player in smoothing out their stroke. This means putters can be built at 38" to 50" without loss of head feel and without having to add lead tape to the heads after assembly. These weights are also great for belly length putters built to 38" to 45". In addition to the heavier weight feature, the Grand Slam putter has a truly unique and effective alignment system with bright white powder coat. Combine all this technology with soft aluminum inserts for soft feel, CNC milled face and a high MOI (moment of inertia), and you have a great technologically driven design at a great price.
