| I stumbled on to a web site which caught my attention. Breaking 80 without practicing was what I needed. The pitch on the web site was compelling enough and if it worked for me I wanted to market it from my site. | |
| I called the contact number to see if we could work something out. | |
| "Hello! Break 80 Golf... this is Craig." | |
| "Hi, this is Karl Higham and I have a web site that focuses on sidesaddle putting." I replied. " I think I would like to sell your program on my site." | |
| "Hi, Karl" "This is Craig Sigl." "Don't you remember me?" "I got a sidesaddle putter from you." | |
| I knew right then I was talking to someone who knows how to identify and process credible information. | |
| The next step was to see how well he could convey it. | |
| Break 80 Without Practice arrived and I dove right in. | |
| Now in my 70th year with arthritic knees, I need to play with a handicap flag on my cart so I can drive right up to the greens. It is virtually impossible for me to practice. I cannot flex my knees when I stand or during a swing. I am able to make a small stiff-legged weight shift however so I can still hit the T ball around 225 while shooting in the mid 80's. For me to consistently shoot in the 70's needs a different kind of fix. | |
| Over the years... like Craig, I have studied so many golf teaching techniques and quick fixes that seem to contradict each other so much that all I ended up with was like a huge box of pieces from a dozen jigsaw puzzles all mixed together with no pictures on the box. | |
| While listening to the first CD, a picture did begin to emerge. | |
| I always knew that at least 90% of the game was played in the 6 inches between the ears. All of the better teaching concepts... in one way or another... utilize this idea. | |
| The problem with all of them is: The What, Why, Where and When is explained but the HOW has been sorely lacking. | |
| I have always said that if we could put our practice swing on the ball or bring our range game to the course we wouldn't need any pros. I knew the subconscious side of the brain could do it if I could get out of it's way... But HOW? | |
| As I went on to CD's 2, 3, and 4 the picture on the box became clear and Craig explained which puzzle pieces actually belonged and how to use them. | |
| The next day I played a round. I chose only one piece to work on that day. ( Establishing and using the same routine for every shot.) This was something I had trouble with because I thought I needed to get to the ball quickly, hit it and get back in the cart before the knees gave out. So what I did was make that my routine. The simple difference was that I had consciously thought of it as a routine instead of a mindless activity. | |
| My focus was absolute on every shot... something I had only experienced on occasional shots. | |
| I only scored an average round but the reason is kinda' weird. I had added some distance to my drive due to a more relaxed swing with better contact and was using different clubs for second shots which I kept blowing over the greens. I'm sure I'll no trouble fixing that. | |
| Craig shows which things work and more importantly HOW to easily make them work. | |
| You don't have to complete the whole puzzle to see results. | |
| (Here's a hint: A simple revelation that lets you come to an agreement between the left and right side of your brain so that they can work together.) | |
| WOW! Worth the price by itself. | |
