| Here is a rather primitive example of an attempt to solve the "X" setup plane versus the "Y" stroke plane delima in ordinary conventional, long and belly techniques. | |
The DR. FEELGOOD PUTTER.. |
|
| (Does not conform to USGA rules.) | |
| ...as advertised on the Golf Channel, has brought up a good point about putting on the "Y" axis instead of the "X" axis... inherent to a conventional stance. The elongated head does, in fact, make it easier to keep the putter square to the "Y" axis while you stand facing the "X" axis in a conventional stance. | |

| There are problems with this design however. First of all, the putter does not conform to USGA regulations. ( The measurement of the head from face to back must be less than that from the heel to toe.) Also, the tiny face makes it very difficult to strike the ball squarely. You could easily even "whiff" the ball on a long putt. The "roll face" makes it even more difficult and is a ridiculous feature. | |
| Here, on this web site, you will find the perfect solution to the X, Y axis dilemma... by simply setting your body up on the Y axis to begin with. You not only produce the pendulum stroke naturally, you are also in the perfect position to gauge the putts pace and direction. When you combine that with body's improved and inherent ability to perform this task automatically from this position, you have increased the probability of making a perfect putt tremendously. And it is USGA legal! | |
