| Take a half a dozen or so balls to a putting green and toss them underhand toward a hole at least 40 or 50 feet away to get the feel of the stroke and establish a natural setup and swing thought for when you start actually using a putter. | |
| Now try it with a long putter and practice it for 30 minutes. (on putts of 6 ft. and under with a standard length putter.) | |
| NOTE: Results with most standard long putters will not be as good as expected since: 1) shafts are too long. 2) grips are too close together. 3) Lie angle is too flat. 4) Head design and markings aren't always the best. 5) None will have the latest in shafting placement like the added benefits of reverse shafting as found on the Comfortzone models. | |
| Even during the first awkward feeling stage with an ill-suited putter you will probably putt better than you do now. | |
| But once you graduate to the right style putter, you will start making putts from distances you never thought possible... | |
| ...and that's a promise...! | |
